Last week we had a Pastels class here along with a guest teacher, Janine Pearce. She taught us this gorgeous woven basket. Amazing what can be done with a single A4 sheet of cardstock!
The strips are stamped and sponged and then woven around a pineapple can for shape.
The flowers are from the Birds and Blooms die cut set and then softly sponged around the edges using Pastels. It's a different effect – the technique that I predominantly used myself before I discovered the love of ink.
