Beautiful Moments with Magnolia Lane

For those in Auckland, I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend!  Today’s share is a card that I taught in my January classes, featuring the Beautiful Moments stamp set, paired with the gorgeous Magnolia Lane papers:

I had a lot of fun making this card, but of course, pretty papers makes it all come together so easily!

Our lovely lady here is coloured with the Stampin’ Blends, the alcohol based markers. I used the colours that coordinated with the papers: Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow, and Old Olive. I also used Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate.

After coloring, I ran the stamped image through the Subtle Embossing Folder, perfect for adding a beautiful texture to your images. It’s a “must have”!

I also used the new Champagne Rhinestones (also so versatile!), which coordinate perfectly with so many of our colours. It works quite well with Petal Pink here.
