I've been writing this blog post for a couple days now . . . school holidays and still being a wee bit sick has truly distracted me from my usual routine!!
This layout is the one I presented at Senz last month, and it was a hit. I love it it too:
I wanted to do a Vintage Style layout, but with more clean lines and less "clutter" for this one – and always always always making sure the photos are the centre of focus.
The decorative strip up the left hand side is made up of a combination of strips of printed papers (Love Letter series) and die cuts next to a roll of the Music Notes wheel.
The Spunch spiral Notebook Border Punch is quite cool for scrapbooking – that's the I've done along the tag to look like notebook paper.
A nice mix of ribbons and lace in the tag finish it off. I also challenged myself to use vellum on this one. Stamped with the Artistic Etchings set, it makes a nice backdrop to the photo.
On the the photo corner I've just used a Little Leaves Die, an Antique Brad, and a heart punch.
The leaves and the vellum are sparkled up just a little with a brushing of the Champagne Shimmer Paint – a beautiful "nude" shimmer.
Next scrapbooking class is August 9th in Bucklands Beach and August 18th on the North Shore. We will be doing a gender-neutral Beach Page. Book in today!
