Hamilton Island Day 3

Today has been heaps of fun! 

Started out with a long walk around the island.  I got a little disoriented, but it doesn't take long to find your way right again on an island.  And it doesn't take much to get me confused either.

This morning we had our swaps and Make & Takes (or Takeaways as one of the husbands called it – in all seriousness).  I will post my swap tomorrow on here ( I forgot to take a picture).  Very impressive selection of artwork!  It's a pleasure to trade ideas with such a talented group!

It was also very fun to hang out for a couple of hours doing our make and takes and playing with new product and chatting with everyone.  We took heaps of photos – first as a big group, then by table, then by colour coordinating shirts (seriously!) and then by country, and then by team . . . .  whew!

I chose the photo here because it's silly.  I love how the personalities show.  I think Alisa must have been smiling when she snapped this of us.  Can you name the demonstrators?  I'll put the answer down at the bottom, but see if you can . . . .

It's been soooooo hot here today.   I had to slip my shoes off during the Make & Takes, and then when I went to go home, I couldn't even get them on!  I had to walk home barefooted. Which is okay.  True kiwi style anyway. 

I only wanted to slip into bed for an hour and take a little snooze, but Madeleine had other ideas. She's just been full of beans this entire trip. She spent the morning at the pools with Ngaire Anderson's husband and children, and then she wanted me to take her mini golfing.  I'd rather clean the toilet bowl than play mini golf.  So she went and did that with the Andersons for a total of 35 minutes while I had a very small nap.

 

 

 

 

Then we got our togs on and went kayaking. Which I loved.  I love kayaking and canoeing.  I can feel my back is sore already or at least very tired.  It was gorgeous. 

 

We'll go out and have an early dinner tonight.  tomorrow is a free day with the big finale dinner tomorrow night. Details are still top secret . . .
