Elegant Slimline Cards with the Simply Leaves Bundle

Today’s share was a project I made for the Colour Inkspiration Challenge Group #CI212, and I chose to use the brand new Simply Leaves bundle. Our challenge colors were:

I don’t like that wall paper in the graphic, but I do like these colors together, and decided to blend them to make a unique paper:

I really had so much fun with this; I think this is my second most favorite technique (first being watercoloring). But both involve mixing inks, which I think is just so fun.

Once I had created my paper, I cut out the leaves with the new Simply Leaves punch – so quick and easy!

As a finishing touch, I stamped the leaves with one of the detail images from the Simply Leaves stamp set with Crisp Cantaloupe. They do need that; it looks a bit non-descript without that extra detail.
