Easy Faux Embossing Technique with Dies & Punches (Made with Sweetness Card Idea)
Today’s share with the Made with Sweetness Dies is a fun idea for an embossed look, but without an embossing folder! With this simple technique, your “embossing” options are now expanded to any die and punch you own, so you’ve always got something that will match your project.

For this sample, I kept it simple with just a basic circle punch. Actually, punches (I used two sizes here). You could also use dies. We don’t currently have a dot folder, so this was a simple workaround to get the same sort of effect using tools I already own plus a few scrap piece of cardstock.

For these adorable fruit dies from the Made with Sweetness die set, I used the two toned cardstock. The light and dark sides is perfect for monochromatic layering, like the Coastal Cabana blueberry here.
The peach uses the new Crisp Cantaloupe and Barely Blush. They do look nice together, and it’s a lovely combination for the peach and details.
And I had to bring in some red so I could add in one of those adorable Ladybug Embellishments.
