Two Step Stamping Tips with the 2025 New In Colors!
Today’s share is a fun card, inspired by a few samples on Pinterest and the sample right out of the Stampin’ Up! 2025 Annual Catalogue. I’ve used the Pretty Florals stamp and die bundle with ALL FIVE of the 2025 Stampin’ Up! In Colors for this pretty project:

I just love the Cloud Cover; it seems to be pretty neutral and makes a great card base! I used the Corrugated Embossing Folder top and bottom; this is a great, neutral folder that works with pretty much any and every image you’d like to use!

To bring in four other new In-Colors, I used the Secret Sea for accents and for the word label. It’s so very dark that it’s a great choice in place of black. I think this one will be my most-used out of the five.
Next we have Strawberry Slush for the outline of the tall flowers (hollyhocks??), and Timid Tiger for the detail on the orange flowers. People in class were really pleased with my idea of how to get two tones with the Darling Duckling, a color that doesn’t seem to have anything lighter or darker in the same tones in our current selection.

Normally, one could “stamp off” to get a lighter color, but that doesn’t work extremely well with photopolymer stamps. Instead, using a bone folder to temporarily move some ink to the side to achieve a lighter color. See the short video below for a demonstration.
You can use this technique with any color!

And just a quick extra: I made a similar card idea, this time using the dies in the Pretty Florals bundle instead of the stamps. I liked the layering pieces of these dies, and wanted to give it a go.
