Today’s share is inspired by a tag I was given from Stampin’ Up! as part of an award years ago. Clearly, I loved it and have kept it all this time for the fun idea. I’ve re-made the idea here today with the Trusty Tools bundle. I actually love making tags; they are a great way to use up your smaller pieces and leftover die cuts from larger projects.
This project is also for the Global Stampin’ Video Hop, where a group of us from around the world all make a free video on a particular theme.
For my project, I reached for the brand new, Trusty Tools. This bundle is available as of 3 January, 2024, and is sure to be very popular.
You can’t really see it in the photo, but what I loved about this tag is that the bottom section actually opens up as a mini card. The shape is fun, and it’s a little bit unexpected. Plus, it’s practical so you can write a little message and/or do a bit more embellishing.
You can see how it works in the short video below.
I also made a Darling Details version, opting for more pastel colors. I love this new ribbon, the ruched Pool Party ribbon. And even better, it’s FREE with purchase during January and February 2024!
For this version, I added an embossed layer to the tag bag. You can keep it simple or step it up, perhaps depending if it’s likely to be binned or kept. LOL
