I was so impressed and touched when my sweet family spent an afternoon making Valentine's Cards for me and for each other last week. They did this when I was in Palmerston North . . .and they even cleaned up the mess!!
My dear husband made me this lovely card – his very own creation:
He wanted me to note how the "Apricot Almond" hearts all matched up with the bigger red ones. Cute!
And he even decorated up the inside:
I am very blessed to have such a thoughtful man in my life. Now, if my daughters told him he had to, I don't want to know that bit! I am just grateful for the kind man that he is.
And Sofie (10)
made me a lovely scrapbooking page:
I smiled extra because of the banners along the side. All three of my girls told me at one stage or another that I use those too often. So it made me laugh to see them here. I'm guessing she thinks it's a requirement to be a "real" scrapbooking page!!
I have no idea where she found those old papers. She did a great job!
I am cherishing these moments. I know it won't be very many years away before I don't get sweet little gifts like this from my children. Let's all give the little people in our lives an extra hug and a kiss today!
xx
