Two Toned Flora Paired with Love Cats

Welcome to the All Star Design Team Monthly Blog Hop! This month we are each featuring the Fancy Flora Suite, which includes both the Two Toned Flora and the Something Fancy stamp and die sets.

I’ve also added in one image from the new Love Cats stamp set for a bit of fun with these floral images:

The Two Toned Flora images are in a two-step style. First, stamp the darker detail, and then stamp the fill image over top. In this case, I chose to use the same color of ink pad for both steps in each flower, but certainly you can mix it up.

Two-step stamping like this is always very satisfying; the images look so great with very little effort!

I originally created this design as a scrapbooking page for a friend who’s going through a very hard time. Hers was completely different colors, but I liked it so much, I thought I’d reduce the size and make a fun card.

I quite like the mix of adding one of the Love Cats images in with these more sophisticated floral images.
