Masculine Slim Sayings Slimline Card with Partial Embossing

Welcome to another Colour Inkspiration Color Challenge! For this challenge, we are using a lovely, earthy mix of greens and grays:

I thought this was a wonderful and unusual color palette for a guy’s card:

Chevrons are a great choice for guys, and the Slim Sayings Bundle has this really great one, sized for a tall card.

I also really like the bold words in the Slim Sayings stamp set. It’s perfect for the Partial Embossing Technique, part of my online Techniques & Tea: Heat Embossing class.

I used the challenge colours of Basic Gray, Soft Succulent, and Garden Green to blend ink onto the chevron die cut. I did use a white base, so sneaked in a bit of Very Vanilla for the color challenge with the Basic Matte Dots.
