It’s another color challenge in the Colour Inkspiration challenge group! Please join in with us as we create with this rich colour palette: (If you don’t have the exact colors, just use similar)
My project with these colors features the Quiet Meadow bundle, a stamp and die set with timeless images. The silhouette flowers are perfect as is or to color in:
Rich Razzleberry and it’s grandmother, Blackberry Bliss, are two of my favorite colors. It seems they can be paired with any other color and look good!
The flower die is cut out of Basic White, and then I used a Blending Brush to add the color. As mentioned in the video below, it gives a very shaded effect rather than a “solid” color.
The leaves are die cut from the 2021 In Color Shimmer Vellum for a soft, shimmery effect. Cutting these out of a different paper really helps the single flower to stand out.
I’ll show you how to tie that bow (it’s much easier than it looks) in the video below.
The Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder is a nice backdrop for flowers. It’s “neutral”, but it’s also more geometric and linear, which is a nice contrast to the free flow of the bouquet.
