Nelson Extravaganza Project Parade
Although it was biting cold, we had a fun day in Nelson on Saturday at our New Catalogue “Dirty” Extravaganza! Each of the projects were geared towards a somewhat messy technique (mine the least so), so we had a lot of fun and trying new things.
Sarah Pownall taught the group this fun watercolour project using sponges, aquapainter and sometimes even fingers!
Rebecca Palmer shared this 3D stamping technique, using a paste of paint, cornflour, water, and ink drops. Everybody has a sparkling, yummy recreation.
Adriana Koch taught this masculine notebook project using the shaving cream technique, an oldie but goodie. It was impressive to see all the results!
And Sally Robertson shared this fun easel card with dyed ribbon and many vintage layers. Nice to have a couple of projects the guys would appreciate, too!
Our Christmas Extravaganza in Nelson will be 19 November. Please book in early – you don’t want to miss it!
Thanks for reading!
