One of the many pleasures I have in my job is spending time with my team. I wanted to share a little bit of what we did this last weekend at our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator team Stamp Camp. We gathered in Rotorua to enjoy three very hot and fun filled days together – but the time went way too quickly!
This is most of us all busy working away. And yes, that's my Sofie dancing across the stage.
Ria Kaire was one of our several tutors – all did a great job! Ria shared with us the Retro Fresh Suite. Bev Poultney and Paula Reid also presented, but I didn't ask my little photographer to take pictures – sorry
Here is me teaching the Fresh Prints Suite – last presentation of the last day – happy but tired.
This was just the beginning night – we had a super display of various projects and styles!
Sofie was very worried when she saw the camp's veggie garden that she wouldn't like the food. . . . let's just say NOBODY went hungry!
As a team, we often, if not always, include a service project in our events. This year we supported the St. Vincent De Paul house by making nearly 100 cards for them to use at their discretion. It was impressive to see how quickly they got done when everyone put in a bit of effort!
Emma, our country manager, donated to our event some Undefined Kits so all demonstrators could give stamp carving a try. This sample was done by Sofie, my 11 year old daughter.
And here are some of the samples done by the demonstrators. All were truly impressive – some extremely detailed. This is a great way to get EXACTLY what you always wished for in a stamp image!
And the group was issued another little challenge with just a few bits of white card and the Mosaic printed paper.
It was a very visual reflection of all the different talents and personalities in the room!!! Again, blown away by my team!
Little Sofie is the only of my daughters who finds me acceptable at the moment, and it was my pleasure to have her with me for the weekend. Rob was busy building a fence for the St. Vincent De Paul house, otherwise he would have been there with the ladies, too. (He loves any excuse to steal a hug and a cuddle!)
And we coulnd't leave without a group photo! Sofie was taking the shot for us. Bernie joked she would hide behind the pole, and I see she really meant it. Funny lady! xx
All left enthused, inspired, overfed, and happily tired.
We already have next year booked in and we'd love to have you there with us! Join our team of demonstrators whether as a hobby, part time or full time for only $189 and receive $305 worth of products of your choice. You will have a blast!!

Yay for Stamp Camp! I’m sorry to have missed another one. The weather looked glorious! Good to know Sofie is still hanging with her Mama; what happened to Kjirsti? 🙁
