The WHOLE Day spent making Wedding Invitations . . .

Most brides like the DIY wedding stationery concept.  They love to be able to make it just a they envision and have something that is totally unique and "theirs".

Last Friday a bride, myself, and her friends came over to make her invitations for her April wedding.     We drafted up a prototype based on another invitation I had designed for a magazine (will post that after the magazine is published)

This is us about 11 am.  Everyone was thrilled to help and was super impressed with all the tools and gadgets Stampin' Up! has on offer.  We really do have great products!

I set them to work.

This is us at about 10pm.  Some ladies had to come and go, and you can see my dear Robert in the corner gluing away.  You can see the sugar and the mcdonalds came out, too.

At this point, I now have some new really close friends – we've had all day to chat and chat and chat.  To me, gaining that alone was very rewarding.

These pictures are not that great – late at night, tired, and with my phone!! 

We used the Sweet Sorbet SaleABration papers, and luckily, the bride liked all of the prints so we were able to make quite a few variations for her.

The invitation itself is a tri-fold with a small slit:

And the envelopes (this is the worst picture ever! but all the invites are gone now so this is what I have!)

And here is our finished mission – 300 invitations later!

I know the pictures aren't great, but I wanted to share the MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! and the fun day we had.
