I never before thought hedgehogs were cute.
In fact, I often wondered what the fascination was with all the hedgehog stamps so popular in other brands.
Then one day, while walking to the pool, we found a baby hedgehog on the pathway, orphaned and so tiny. And what mother can leave a baby alone?
In the end, we had her for five days, and then she passed on, despite our best efforts to keep the baby alive. There are a few kind ladies in Auckland who specialize in helping out hedgehogs, and neither of them charge a fee for their services. So I made up a pack of these cards to send as a thank you to the ladies who drove over the try and save the baby. It mean a lot to me and to my girls that people have such kind and generous spirits to help out the small creatures.
This card is quite straightforward, except for the scalloped frame. Take two on the videos for a short visual tutorial! To order your scallop edge punch, email me today!

Love the cards – I’m a lover of hedgehog stamps, especially the Penny Black ones, but since SU! I haven’t played around with them for some time now. Great video too!
