Hello to a new Month!! (My newsletter will be out shortly – been run off my feet the last few days!)
This month my wonderful team of artists were given the beautiful Dots & Designs Rub-Ons (Summer mini catalogue). Each team member was given different bits, so we'll get to see virtually the whole assortment used throughout the month.
Paula has challenged herself further by doing a scrapbook page, her self-proclaimed weak area. Don't think so!!
I kept looking at this wondering what paper she used in the background (the Riding Hood Red and White one) and then realized it was a rub-on! Clever girl! She's used the rub-on panel (white) onto the Riding Hood Red cardstock, clipped it in half, and then adhered it behind the photo to look like a border. Beautiful!
Paula has used the flower rub-on as an embellishment by rubbing it onto the photo and then bringing it on down through to the card frame. She's heat embossed the sentiment, a little goodie from a retired set Summer by the Sea.
The dots are also from the rub-on sheet, which she has used to create both a border and an accent on the scalloped edge.
Lovely work, Paula! You can no longer say you are not a scrapbooker!!

Gorgeous, Paula. The colours you used really offset the photo well. Keep it up.
