Happy Friday! Ever since it was released, I’ve wanted to make a scrapbooking layout using this stamp from Painted Petals as the title, and I finally got to it, although in the last few weeks of this set being offered. I’ve also paired up the stamp set with the coordinating Painted Petals Designer Series Paper:
I’ve used a sketch I found on Pinterest as the inspiration, but then added details to compliment the theme and the photos.
The background is simple – 7-8 strips of the Painted Petals papers cut in varying widths and lengths and placed either perfectly in line or not.
Our much beloved Butterfly Thinlit Dies are around to stay, thank goodness! How did we craft without these beauties? And if you haven’t been to class lately, I have an awesome trick to show you for cutting these out without any blood, sweat, nor tears.
I’ve added some extra detail with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and the Painted Petals set (in white ink), for something of interest, but not too loud. After all, the photos should be the focus.
