One for the Guys – Mediterranean Cruise Achiever’s Blog Hop!
Welcome to another Mediterranean Cruise Achievers Blog Hop! This month we are focusing on the guys. It seems I’ve been making a lot of masculine projects lately due to the very cool masculine products in the new Occasions Catalogue!
This was my first attempt at this card I sketched out. Love the SAleABration set, Pedal Pushers!! (Free with any $110 order) Such a cute set perfect for any occasion or style. (You can see my “pink version” of this set HERE)
To colour onto the Kraft cardstock a little bit better, I “white washed” the cardstock with the Whisper White ink first. It gives a nice background as well as helps the colour of the bike pop more.
This morning when I woke up, I wondered if this project would look better with the vanilla, so I gave it a try. I’ve also put a few knots into the Burlap and Island Indigo Cotton Ribbon threads.
The Gold Wink of Stella was also pretty great for colouring in the metal parts of the bike!
