Starting September with the new catalogue year, I'm going to start a Techniques Class series complete with a book to keep track of your learnings. As one of my friends calls it – we'll make our own "stamping bible" so you can have a quick reference to what you've learned. (even if you give away your sample – shame! LOL)
Today will be a little preview of the kinds of things we'll do – the kissing technique. (Your passion for stamping is enough to carry you through).
And I will be going back to the camera shop today to figure out how to focus. sorry about that. You'd think with an automatic . . .
Anyway – the kissing technique: you need two types of stamps. First, a solid image like any of the animals in Wild About You. Second, a patterned stamp, but one where the pattern is still fairly dense.
1. Ink Up the patterned image
2. Stamp the solid image onto the patterned image (as opposed to an ink pad). Muah!
3. stamp
*Be sure and wash your stamp between impressions if you're making several
Let me know how it goes!
