Today’s share is a card I made a while back featuring the Fault Line Technique with the Everyday Happiness papers and the Beautiful Butterfly dies. I made this version in a slimline style, and the effect is quite striking.

I like check pattern in the Everyday Happiness papers paired with the floral print. I tucked a little of the more solid yellow print along the torn line just for that extra bit of color (and strength to the card).
Because the background has quite a bit going on, I kept the butterflies themselves quite neural in just Gray Granite cardstock. The make a nice bridge betweeen the two sides of the fault line on this project.

I “splurged” a little on this one, and used the Everyday Happiness for the card base. What makes that extra nice is then you get the nice patterns when you open the card, too.
And go ahead and use a little scrap to embellish the writing panel, too! It makes is really easy (and effective) when all the prints in a pack of papers coordinate so perfectly.

I used a gray spot from one of the printed papers for the words. Again, it matches just perfectly! I’m stamping more and more on the printed papers these days for just the right style and tone.
