Every once in a while I do a project that is a bit more involved, and it’s been that time again! By request, I’ve created an Explosion Box & Gift – something extra special for a special person (like Mother’s Day coming up!)
And this is the box all closed up, ready for gifting. I love this combination of Tangerine Tango, Pool Party, and Basic Black. (Tangerine Tango is retiring!)
The lid features the beloved Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder and the Pansy Punch (also retiring!) along with the Stitched Shapes Dies. It’s simple, but the high contrast of the colours makes it striking.
Open the box and voilà! It all folds out for several layers of goodness. You can go crazy with this and do much more, but I’ve kept it to two layers for class. The second layer features little pockets and tag shapes along with ribbons and twines.
In the centre of the Explosion Card sits a little gift card and a tiny gift bag for a chocolate or two.
I’ve used the Flirty Flowers stamp set for the stamped images on the card and on the tags – such a nice set. Tomorrow I’ll share another project, quite different to this one, using that same set.
