Welcome to the 65th Colour Inkspiration Challenges Blog Hop!
You’ve landed in New Zealand at Jacque Williams’ blog! I am excited to share with you today; I love this colour combination of Merry Merlot, Basic Black Blackberry Bliss, and Gray Granite:
I’m not one for showing products too long before they are released, but I just could not resist colouring in these beautiful roses with this sophisticated colour combination:
These dies and images are part of the Christmastime is Here Bundle (and Suite), which will be available for purchase 1 November. (As a side note, one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is being able to purchase these things early. Ask your demonstrator for more information about getting started or read HERE).
This beautiful stamp is “all in one”, so it was a simple stamp, heat emboss in white, and then watercolour with the Blackberry Bliss, Merry Merlot, and Gray Granite. I also added the gold to the image to tie in the gold accents and ribbon that are part of this suite.
Did you know you certainly can watercolor with the Delicata inks? I’ve used the Gold Glitz here. If you order the ink pad, it’s a great idea to order the ink refill as well so your pad is always ready to go. Plus, then you can easily use a drop of the ink refill for coloring as above.
I also picked up a dab of the ink refill on the Aqua Painter and used it to flick a bit of the gold onto the image as well. Okay I got half of it on my table as well, but it was worth it.
I look forward to sharing more of this suite with you!
Enjoy the rest of the hop and please do join in with our colour challenge over the next two weeks; we love to see your creations, too!

The gold is a pretty, yet unexpected, touch. It really lifts up the richness of the purples.
