Today was another relaxing and fun day, as vacation should be. I woke up a bit later today, so slowly adjusting to the five hour time change . . . which I may hate that come Monday morning!!
Last night, though, we had swaps and "snacks", which was actually a big feast of lovely little things to eat. We didn't bother with dinner!
We came back to find our second pillow gift (can't show you the first just yet)
And inside was this stunning, super soft, gold handbag, which just so happens to match the travel wallet that was sent to us a few weeks ago. Stampin' Up! is good like that.
Today we joined our country manager, Emma, and her husband, Sean, and also Ngaire and Donald Anderson for a moped ride to go and see a few things around the area. Here's a scary shot of Rob that was taken a fraction too soon:
And here is my real boy, decked out and ready to take his girl on a fast ride. Or as fast as the poor little moped would go.
Our first stop was at a beach, somewhere where there are dinasaur prints? And it sure did have a pre-historic look to it. The beach was covered in jelly fish, so we didnt' get in. All of us except for Sean, who apparently has no fear.
We amused ourselves for a bit having crab races. While I am fascinated with this new found toy (crabs), I wasn't about to touch one. the boys were more than happy to play. Rob's crab one.

And a super shot of my beautiful man
Next we moped-ed to a Pearl Museum and had about an hour tour of the history of pearl farming in the Broome area. it was interesting and lovely to sit in an air conditioned room!! This is pic afterwards next to one of the first sort of diving masks they used, weighing no less than 25 kgs.
We had a yummy Japanese lunch with Emma and Sean, then came right home and straight to the pool. The heat here is really .. . don't know but it knocks you out. We do feel quite exhausted after a few hours in the sun. Rob and I both lamented that with all the really cool amenities at this resort, our kids would really really enjoy this. Seems almost a shame to be here without them. but just for a moment!
So, Rob just adopted a few kids at the pool and taught this little girl some diving. I just love him.
All right – I think tonight we will stay in and watch a movie or something quiet and cool. tomorrow another relaxing day here and then the big finale dinner!
