Today’s share is one of the projects I shared at the Auckland OnStage event last November. (OnStage is a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator training event, although “training” makes it sound like work. It’s actually a lot of fun! So OnStage is a Demonstrator FUN event where we see the upcoming product and learn ways to use it.)
For my presentation, I was asked to present a project in each of the Beginner, Casual, and Avid categories. This was what I had submitted as the Beginner sample. There’s nothing but ink, stamps, and paper plus a little bit of twine here. I did add a bit of glitter to a few of the images, too.
You can easily place this mountain behind any of the images by quickly masking the girls and then stamping the mountain. The mask (usually a post it note) blocks the ink from stamping on the first image, so the mountain appears to be behind them. (or in front of them in this case).
This image is made wider by simply adding more of the flower stamp. Vary the height so it looks like she’s on a hill, if you’d like.
It will be fun to use this image for both my mother and also for my daughters when they have children of their own. This could also be used for sisters or aunts or any special relationship. I’ve added the butterflies to these two young ladies.
Thanks for stopping by! If you missed the Beautiful Moments class in January, I’m still offering it virtually! I’ll send you the stamp set, kits for four cards, and the videos to make them for just $58 NZD. Email me to sign up.
