Bring on the Bling! – Grand Vacation Blog Hop
Welcome to another Grand Vacation Achiever’s Blog Hop – Bring on the Bling! Today’s share is my swaps from last weekend’s team Christmas party:
I’ve used a brand new stamp set, Balloon Celebration, and it’s coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch from the new Occasions Catalogue, coming 5 January. Don’t you just love the font in this one?
The project has both the sequins for bling and the NEW Wink of Stella accent pen on the punched out balloons. Yum! (The Wink of Stella pens are also coming 5 Jan).
I also went back to an old favorite technique and did some faux stitching around the edges with the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack and the Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write Marker.
Create the balloons in two steps: one for the lighter balloon “fill” and the second for the dotted, darker accent at the bottom. I do believe I have now decided balloons are pretty cute!
