This is another case from the net from an unknown source.  I love how this design showcases two lovely background stamps – Fine Lace on the Old Olive and Paisley stamped in Ruby Red.

The greenery image from Peaceful Wishes is stamped using the markers rather than traditional ink pads.  Using the side of the brush tip, colour the green parts of the image in Certainly Celery.  Then colour in the berries with the Ruby Red marker.  Breathe on the stamp (huffing) to rewet the ink and then stamp!  This is also the way to omit certain parts of a stamp if Peaceful wishes Christmas Cardyou wish (by not colouring them in) when you stamp.

stampin up demonstrator auckland Rivetbudgetwise If you have not seen the magic of making a bagalope, then schedule a workshop today!  This is a really fun and easy project that you can use not only for Christmas, but for birthday favours and any small gift item.

Our Whisper White and Very Vanilla envelopes have the same ultra-smooth finish on them that the Whisper White and Very Vanilla card have, designed specifically for stamping to give a crisp, clean finish.  And by the way, there is a misprint in the catalogue.  The catalogue states you receive 20 for 12.95, but in fact you receive 40 for that price.

Enjoy Every Moment is a great stamp set, not only for project like this, but a super one for scrapbooking pages.  Not that I have one made up yet, but will do over the Christmas break!  I have also used my markers (on special for just a few more hours!) and just coloured the JOY in this word to use as a Christmas sentiment.

This is one I cased right off the net.  Unfortunatley, I failed to save the link or the original artist, so I must apologize to her for that.  But it's a stunning design; she's a genius!

I have fallen head over heels in love with this bird . . . we are told that all mini catalogue items will be deleted end of November, but there is a teeny tiny chance it will end up in the new catalogue in April.  I have my fingers and toes crossed this one does; it's just a gorgeous gorgeous set.

This project features stamping on virtually just the one layer, and then a lot of layering to create the visual texture.  The raised circle embellishments are easy with the 1/2 inch circle punch.  The paper are the top is from Spring Silhouettes.

The aged look around thestampin up classes edges is achieved by sponging on Creamy Caramel ink.  This is an ink colour that I use quite often and is a good one to have in your supply.  Our sponges come round; cut them into six or eight triangle shapes to give you lots of surface areas for sponging.  It's a great technique that adds visual interest without adding more layers of card.

Rivetbudgetwise Notemplatebag I think Anabel named this one the "Tall Box".  My dearest and oldest (not eldest) friend, Melinda, showed me this template donkey's years ago; it's a good old stand-by.

My preference is to do projects that require no templates because I hate to draw, trace, or maneuver anything remotely like a puzzle.

This box is wheeled all over with It's Beautiful, a really fun design in the Spring Mini catalogue in Pretty in Pink.  The flower is from One of a Kind and also uses the coordinating punch for the little flowers.

This is exactly the same box as the one posted earlier (scroll down) done up in Real Red and Green Galore – achieving a very different look!

This template is a lot of fun!  All credit goes to Kayoko in Christchurch for showing Anne who showed me this technique.

The inside panels open up to reveal a hidden panel inside.  Sounds tricky, but deceptively simple once you see how it's done!  I've made a closure for this card using magnets under the One of a Kind flower medallion, an idea from Racheal.  I had to do some fiddling to get the rhinstone brad to lie flat so the magnets would stick, but with persistance, it does work!

I just love how the background worked out on this one with the Boho Background stamp and the white gel pen.  Again, this pen is the best white gel pecard classes Aucklandn on the market.  It's worth ordering!!

This is a very neat project shown to demonstrators by Linda at convention.  I can't remember her last name, but a very lovely and warm lady!

The concept here is very simple – use your Designer Series Papers to make a perfect gift bag by just wrapping it around a box!  Slip the box out and voila! a bag ready for some stamping.

I thought the idea of the card on the front was also very clever.  Seal an envelope, slit one end open and adhere that to the front of your bag for a quick & easy pocket to insert a tag or card.  Stampin' Up!'s envelopes have the same super-smooth finish on them as the Whisper White and Very Vanilla stamping card to give your stamped imaged a clean, crisp finish.

My friend Pauline had a brainstorm in a class one day to punch out flower to cover up little boo-boo's.  I did a really Giftpackagingcrazy thing to this bag and was so frustrated I wasn't about to start over  . . . so I took Pauline's advice and made my bag a pretty little band-aid.  It's sort of floating out of place, but a sight better than what lies underneath!

The paper used here is Fall Flowers.  The second sample is done up with Apple Cider papers – those that are being deleted as of Sunday.  This photo is a bag that was made up by my dear friend, Mirriel.  If you'd like these, get them today!Easygiftpackaging

I've noticed in the years I have been teaching papercrafting that every Christmas there seems to be THE project everyone loves.  2009 brings us the "Rivetmaleapprovedbag in a box" for an easy gift idea.

And I love this quick project, too!  You can make two out of one sheet of our designer series papers and all the rest can be made out of scraps and bits & pieces, so easily a project that can be done for less than $1.

The Dashing paper has been so overwhelmingly popular this year! The Real Red, Old Olive, and River Rock combination is striking, festive, and still easy gift ideasslightly unexpected.

Guestartist

Stampin Up Pauline, a very talented and lovely demonstrator in Napier, designed this beautiful card.  She has a style very different from my own, and I love it!

The accordion fold on this only looks tricky – it's very simple and straightforward once you get your head around how it fold together.  The stamp set used here is Bloomin' with Beauty in the Spring Mini Catalogue (sept 08-Nov 08).  The images were coloured in using sponge daubers with Bashful Blue, Mellow Moss, and Apricot Appeal.

Pauline then added a bit of Crystal Effects for a glossy, wet look on some of cardmaking classes the petals and while it was still wet, sprinkled on just a bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  Simple and stunning.
