I loved this card concept idea when I saw it in a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator magazine recently – done in different papers, but a versatile idea!

I think the thick, lovely Blushing Bride ribbon makes the project!

I wanted to do something a little extra for my Virtual Club members and online orders this month, so all of them are getting one of these varieties of cute cards to both enjoy and use as a sample:

This one uses the Farmer’s Market Designer Series Paper, one of my personal favorites.

Each of the “strips” is made using the Washi Tape Punch, another goodie on the discontinuing list.

Here are two slightly different versions.  Love the lace combined with the rustic look!

The resin flowers are the In-Color Blossom Accents, and these are on discount while supplies, last, too.

If you’ve been to any of my classes, you’ll know that Gorgeous Grunge is a Top 3 favorite!  Today’s share is inspired by Tami White and features our beloved Gorgeous Grunge, but this time in rainbow:

Welcome to my new favourite colour – Mint Macaron!  Today’s share is a quick card, inspired directly from a sample in the catalogue (pg 129) using the Swallowtail stamp:

A lot of the impact factor on this relatively simple design is the texture of these wonderful, little wooden words, called Expressions Elements. They come pre-cut and ready to go – couldn’t be easier!

If you need to make a few cards in a hurry, either for your own use or to bundle up as gifts, this design is an excellent solution!  Try this is different colour combinations for a lovely set.

Bohemian Butterfly – Quick Card

Today I’m sharing a CASE from my friend, Marelle Taylor.  She did up a project with this concept for her swap at convention earlier this year, and I thought it was just such a clever idea using the Washi Tape.    I’ve changed it up to use some of the newer products, but use any washi tape and embossing folder that takes your liking!

Tip: you need to wrap the washi tape around to the back an inch or so to get this reversed image.

I like to have on hand some simple cards, both for sending, and for packaging up in groups to give as a gift.  The Stampin’ Up! Notecards and Envelopes are just perfect for this – today I am sharing a few simple ideas using the Butterfly Basics set.  I’ve taken inspiration from pinterest on these ones, but changed up to fit the notecards:

stampin up butterfly dies washi tape clean simple quickAs you can see, it’s a nice, sunny day in New Zealand, albeit a bit bitter outside.

This project is just a bit of washi tape, some scoring lines, and that gorgeous butterfly die.

I’m back from the annual Stampin’ Up! Convention in the Gold Coast and what a great five days it was!  I really enjoy meeting up with not only my team from around New Zealand, but the friends I have made over the years in Australia.

I’d like to share with you a very simple card today, inspired by Stampin’ Georgia, showcasing the chalk inks and the chalkboard paper:

stampin up painted petals chalk inkAs you can see on the inside of the card, the Chalk Inks work really nicely on the Whisper White paper as well, giving a nice, opaque cover.
