As promised, here are the pants (trousers!) I stamped over the summer. It was a lot of fun and very cool to alter the fabric like this. For this project, I used the large flourish stamp from Baroque Motifs.
Unfortunately, although I drafted up the pattern to fit me, I drew it up last October when I was about to compete. So, I will have to give myself another month or so before I can get my bottom into this pair. Not so clever of me.
It took me a couple days of pondering to figure out how I could use those fabulous Antique Brads as a button. In the end, I cut the legs of Brad and hot glued him to a an existing button shank. I'll have to be gentle with it, but it will work great. So no cookies when I'm wearing these.
I love how the back turned out! I'm glad I stamped on the yoke bit, too.

Hope you enjoyed and feel inspired to try your stamps on something new!
Yesterday just really got away from me! I had four huge boxes arrive with orders, so many of you can expect your Last Chance List items to arrive shortly.
This is a very very cute project taken from a swap from convention. The swap is not mine, so I don't have a name to give credit (If someone does, please add a comment), but it's darn cute. Thanks so much for creating this!
See how to use your Big Shot to create many, many various shapes cards here:
Colours: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Other: Whisper White ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch, Small Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1 inch circle punch, 3/4 inch circle punch, Metallic Brads, Large Scallop Circle Die, Big Shot
This beautiful card is strongly based on a swap given to me by the lovely Vanessa Webb at last year's Incentive Trip to Noosa Heads. I just loved it!
So I've redone it up here with current colours and a few tweaks:
I just love those large, vanilla pearls. So elegant and they are the absolute perfect thing for an antiqued project.
Although the layout is simple, this project features a couple of great techniques. One of which is the faux suede:
(My girls were competing today for cheerleading, so had to snag the first person to knock on my door. thanks Bron!)
