Happy Friday!   Today’s share is a lovely Four Panel Card shown to us at a recent Stampin’ Up! Training Event (OnStage) by fellow South Pacific Demonstrator, Pam Jorgenson.  I’ve taken her design and modified into a card that incorporate a couple of small gifts – perfect for Mother’s Day or any birthday!

I’ve used the GORGEOUS Succulent Designer Series Paper here, one that has such a great colour combination and nice prints.

I’ve also paired up with the printed papers the Birdcage Builder stamp set, one that I bought right out of the gate.  We gold embossed the birdcage here for a metallic look.

I wanted to create something that had a few little gifts inside for Mother’s Day or any occasion where a small gift would be suitable.   So on panel 2 I had everyone make a bookmark using the mega giant paper clips and the Succulent dies.   I just love how it both adds to the project and is a gift for later, too.

On the third panel, we made a little pocket and tucked in a cup of tea.  This would such be the perfect card to give along with a new book!

One fun thing about a card with this many surfaces is one can feature all the pretty prints in a designer series paper pack.  This is where that coordination really shines!  Everyone’s was a bit different, but all working and all looking great.

What fun I’ve had making this project!  Sadly, so many of the products used here are being discontinued!   It’s that time of the year.  Please do check out the discontinuing list as well as the Clearance Rack to not only get some good deals, but also to make sure you get what’s on your shopping list before they are no longer available!

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s share is four of the five projects our lovely guests completed at the recent Hamilton Extravaganza. We had such a great day, despite the weather being uncommonly muggy!

Sarah Roche and Christine Palmer did a great job with their project – I love the fun shape and the use of the Nailed It bundle.  So perfect for the guys!

Ella Warren and Kristine McNickle taught a shaker card using the Balloon Adventures bundle.  I know everyone enjoyed learning how to make one of these!

Irene Wardlaw and Rayleen Baker shared with the group this pretty dragonfly card using the Dragonfly Dreams bundle. This one is such a winner!

And finally – Ruth Hickey and Alicia Yap showed everyone now to make the Window Box larger and created this fun carousel-like box.

And tomorrow, Friday 31 March, is the LAST DAY for SAleABration gifts with purchase!

Tauranga Project Parade – March SaleABration Extravaganza!

We’ve had such fun at the recent Extravaganzas in various locations around New Zealand!   We love to share Stampin’ Up! with our friends, both existing friends and new ones!

Today’s share is two of the projects recently taught at the Tauranga Extravaganza:

Rhonda Fawcett taught this tool box punch art card using the Nailed It bundle.   Who wouldn’t love to receive this little work of art?! Perfect to have on display, too.

These fun tools are great for tricky cards for the guys in our lives.  You can colour them in or paper piece them, as Rhonda has done here.

Anne Lord taught a joy fold card featuring both the Watercolor Pencils and the Dragonfly Dreams bundle.   The SaleABration gift, the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper, is the black and white background.  It makes a nice, neutral compliment to many of our images.   (You don’t have to color it in!)

Anne created this background using the Watercolor Pencils – everyone’s turned out quite differently!   What fun they had being artists that afternoon.

At the moment you are visiting Jacque Williams in New Zealand!

I’d like to share with you a project using one of my favorites (Cool Treats) from the Occasions Catalogue, accented with the FREE SaleABration Glimmer Paper:

stampin up cool treats frozen acetate window card

Each pack of Free Glimmer Paper comes with four 6×6 sheets of Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, and Sweet Sugarplum (above).  Even a little bit goes a long way!

This fun card features an acetate window, onto which I have adhered a yummy ice cream sundae using the Cool Treats Bundle.

I love how this set lends itself to about any age, any gender, and many occasions.  It’s perfect for birthdays, but who wouldn’t love to get an ice cream card for any reason at all?!

I also made this a double opening card to allow more room for writing without anything showing through the acetate window.

Visit my Tutorials Page for instructions!

And earn that Glimmer Paper FREE with any $110 purchase (or another item of your choice)!  (New Zealand residents only)

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember you are currently at my blog – Jacque Williams – so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Easy Z Fold – A Christmas Card Remade with Birdcage Builder

It’s Friday already, and I’m really looking forward to the Tauranga Extravaganza tomorrow. I love to hang out with our guests who have become friends as well as team members who are also like family.

Today’s share is a remake of a Christmas card I designed a few years back using the Holly Jolly image. I found a lone kit and wanted to make it up using current images:

stampin up birdcage builder z fold falling in love wooden heart embellishment silver glitter paper heat emboss black white

The Birdcage Builder stamp set was on my first order from the Occasions Catalogue back in December.  I just love birdcages and even have a few around the house.  (No birds, though – we have three cats!)

I did really like this project – then and now.  The “inside” piece is simply a piece of cardstock scored into thirds and folded like a Z.

Simple and striking = the best sorts of projects!

Those cute wooden heart embellishments are also quite fun to add to your projects!

Don’t forget to place your orders before the end of March!  SaleABration is drawing to a close at the end of March – get the most value for your money now!  Free gift with every $110!

Blooms & Wishes Pop Up Birthday Card

Happy Monday!  This is a busy week for me as I finish up preparations for our team Stamp Camp this weekend!  I’m excited to go.  The rush to get ready is stressful, but it’s always so worth the effort and very rewarding.  Plus we have something extra special happening there – top-secret!  Check back next week.

Today’s share is a sweet pop up card using the Blooms & Wishes stamp set.  This has become one of my “go to” sets; I love the easy layering and the watercoloured look:

I have used both the new Hexagon Folder (love this) and the Stitched Shaped Framelits, which add a bit of stitching with each shape (various sizes of squares, circles, and ovals included).

I’ve used Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach here as the main colours.  Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz are accent colours.   I had comments that some might not think to pair a pink and an orange, but I find it pleasing to the eye.     Before Christmas, I was designing up quite a few projects as gifts for my team of demonstrators in New Zealand, and I got quite bold with colour combinations – it’s therapeutic!

Surprise!

Inside the card we have a fun pop up, made super easy by using the Party Pop Up Dies!

Remember every order of $110 receives a FREE SaleABration gift, too!

Join us for a class this week:

15 Feb Titirangi 7pm $20 scrapbooking or cardmaking class taking place simultaneously

16 Feb Otahuhu 7:30pm $15 scrapbooking or cardmaking class taking place simultaneously

17-19 Feb Stamp Camp for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators on my team – learn more!

Carousel Birthday – Before & After

Hi, friends!  Happy Tuesday!  Over the summer, as usual, I’ve cleaned out a lot of my craft space. One of the things I promised myself this year is to use up or give away all the leftover kits from 2016 and beyond . . .

Many of them I have remade into something with current products!

Today’s share isn’t a huge deviation from the original, but still fun.   My original design used the Frosted Medallions set, and today’s remake uses the new Carousel Birthday set:

I have white embossed the cupcake carousel, and then watercolored over the top in Pool Party and Sweet Sugarplum.

This project is double front card – it opens twice.  The inside(s) of the card feature more of the vintage circus-type images in this lovely set.

The tassel comes from the Cupcakes and Carousels Embellishment pack.  This entire suite is a personal favorite – more to come!

**Don’t forget you get to pick a free SaleABration item with every $110 purchase!

Artistically Asian Part Two of Two! – Shoji Screen Card

We had a GREAT time yesterday at the Craft Garage Sale/Open House day!  It was fun doing a messy make and take AND seeing people leave with literally boxes of bargains!  (I am the de-clutter queen!)    Four people asked me to make it an annual event, so keep an eye out for the next one!

Today’s share is the second project using Artistically Asian.   As you may know, I gifted my Stampin’ Up! direct team members a class kit – 2 projects with 16 kits, two samples, video instructions, and the stamp set in each kit.   (See Part One)  Today’s project is the second Artistically Asian project in that particular class kit:

I’ve been wanting to make this Shoji Screen style card for years, and what better images than these for this project?!

I’ve used the Artistically Asian stamp set paired with the Seaside Embossing Folder.

The little tassle is made with the Basic Black Baker’s Twine.  It’s easy to make one – I simply wrapped the twine around a little piece of cardboard about four or five times, cut on one edge and then tie near the top (folded edge) with a bit of the Gold Metallic Thread.

The images are again inked up using the Basic Black and Real Red Markers.  Easy and striking!

****  Order the Artistically Asian stamp set and I will send you this project and instructions for FREE!  Offer valid until 31 Jan only.

Enjoy the rest of this windy weekend and thanks for stopping by!
