Thailand Achiever’s Blog Hop – Cool Treats Acetate Window Card

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

Last Call for SaleABration!

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for March 2017. Did you know that Sale-a-Bration finishes at the end of this month?? NOW is the time to make sure you have collected all the wonderful Sale-a-Bration products for FREE that won’t be available after this month.

At the moment you are visiting Jacque Williams in New Zealand!

I’d like to share with you a project using one of my favorites (Cool Treats) from the Occasions Catalogue, accented with the FREE SaleABration Glimmer Paper:

stampin up cool treats frozen acetate window card

Each pack of Free Glimmer Paper comes with four 6×6 sheets of Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, and Sweet Sugarplum (above).  Even a little bit goes a long way!

This fun card features an acetate window, onto which I have adhered a yummy ice cream sundae using the Cool Treats Bundle.

I love how this set lends itself to about any age, any gender, and many occasions.  It’s perfect for birthdays, but who wouldn’t love to get an ice cream card for any reason at all?!

I also made this a double opening card to allow more room for writing without anything showing through the acetate window.

Visit my Tutorials Page for instructions!

And earn that Glimmer Paper FREE with any $110 purchase (or another item of your choice)!  (New Zealand residents only)

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember you are currently at my blog – Jacque Williams – so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Extravaganza Altered Gift Bags – Falling in Love

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

It’s our first series of Extravaganzas for 2017!  We’ve already held our Nelson event, and look forward to a full house at our Auckland and Hamilton events this weekend!  There’s still time to register for Tauranga!

Each event I enjoy decorating up a little bag for each of my guests to use for taking home their creations, prizes, and purchases.  This time around I’ve chosen to use the So in Love Designer Series Paper:

stampin up altered gift bag so in love extravaganza new zealand sweet sugarplum

Each bag is also accented with the Sweet Sugarplum Glitter paper – a SaleABration Gift you can get for FREE with your order!

I’ve also used the SaleABration Metallic ribbon and the Gold Sequins here.

I made the little name tags “easily removable” so my guests can re-purpose the bags later for gifts of their own.

They can also unclip the embellishments and use them on a card!

What is an Extravaganza?

An Extravaganza is an event design developed and fine-tuned by the Creative Inker’s Stampin’ Up! team in New Zealand.  Each event is evaluated to make the next one better!  You as a guest make 4-5 projects in about a 5-6 hour time frame.  Each project is chosen to showcase a specific new tool or a technique.  In addition to small group sessions, personal assistance, you also receive complete written instructions for each project to reference later when you are creating at home.   The day also includes light refreshments, door prizes and sometimes other incentives, fabulous displays, and as a special gift exclusive to attendees – a $10 discount on any order placed on the day of $50 or more.

You need to bring adhesives and scissors; everything else is provided and ready for you!

Because these events are very labour intensive to prepare and often sell out, we do need booking in well in advance and pre-payment.

We love to see you and we love to spoil you!

You can see all the dates for the 2017 Extravaganzas on my Calendar!

And here is Miss Cinnamon helping me out.  Such a good girl.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you soon,

Nelson Extravaganza Project Parade

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

Over the weekend, I zipped down to Nelson and taught at the Nelson SaleABration Extravaganza there.   My project (will share tomorrow!) was fairly cruisy because I had pre cut and prepared a lot of it, so I had a nice, relaxing day with lots of chatting.

And here is a lineup of the other four projects:

Sally Robertson taught this set of three notecards, each using the different images from Beautiful You and each featuring a different technique.

They bundled together nicely for a small gift or as a lovely present for yourself!

Sarah Pownall taught this unique project, featuring the Dragonfly Dreams bundle and many layers of ink and cardstock!   I loved how she made masks using the Special Reason dies here.

And Copper Embossing Powder on the Sending Love (wooden) Embellishments – brilliant!

Rebecca Palmer taught a masculine – appropriate project using the High Tide set.  Nautical is always a good theme here in New Zealand.

And we had a new teacher this time – Emily Tudor – who shared with everyone this cute, unusual box!  Everyone got to do some smooshing and embossing to create this blended look.

Our next Extravaganza in Nelson will be 29 July.

Other Extravaganzas in March:

11 March – Auckland

12 March – Hamilton

18 March – Tauranga

Book In

And don’t forget you get a free SaleABration gift with every order of $110!

Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful rest of your day!

Nelson Christmas Extravaganza Project Parade

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

I’ve been tardy publishing these projects from our Nelson Christmas event in November.  I’ve been heads down in Christmas preparations, but having fun whilst doing it!

Adriana Koch taught this lovely box, using a card I designed and published a few months ago as her inspiration:

I love what she did here with the design.  We used the Frosted Medallions stamp set – and this one will be discontinued at the end of the month, so get this beautiful set while it’s still available.

Sally Robertson shared this frosty window card featuring the Santa’s Sleigh Dies – so pretty!

Nadia Irving kept everyone busy making these sweet gift voucher pouches, each using a variety of products, dressing up the same design:

A belly band keeps these closed and it’s a gift that can be easily re-used by the recipient, too!

Rebecca Palmer shared with the class this embellished Treat Box with the Bow Builder Punch.

Plus I taught my project.  Join us for our next Nelson Extravaganza 4 March!

Totally Trees Pop-Up Card + Last Day for the Online Extravaganza Savings!

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

We had such a great day on Saturday at the Stamp-A-Stack here in my studio!  Lots of laughing, eating, and crafting.  Everyone left with a pile of various card projects – a nice stash for both sending and inspiration.

My share today with you is a pop up card I taught at the Creative Inker’s Christmas Extravaganzas.   I wanted to make something that had a more tropical feel for the holidays.

The Totally Trees set is perfect; it has such a variety of tree images.

These pop up cards are actually an easy concept, and it was such fun for me to see the delight on so many faces when they realized they could make something so awesome with ease!!  Experiences like that make this “job” so fulfilling.

The colours here are Soft Sky, Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz, and Early Espresso.  I wanted a fresh colour combination to reflect our New Zealand summer.

The Festive Embossing Folder used here is on discount, too – but through the end of today (Monday) only!

Be sure to check out the discounts available Today Only:

Thanks for stopping by!

Auckland 2016 Christmas Extravaganza Project Parade

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

We had a fantastic Christmas Extravaganza with my Creative Inker’s Stampin’ Up! team here in Auckland last weekend.  We were forced into a last minute venue change, but the team and the attendees all pulled together and made it work. I am so grateful for all of you involved!

Please enjoy a few photos of four of the five projects we made on the day:

Barbara Bicknell and her team shared this elegant and deceptively simple piano box design, complete with a card and a brownie inside!   Can you tell which punch is used here to make this so easy to create?

Heather Stewart, Sally Williams, and Michelle Pepper shared this fun Santa Box for gifts and/or a tea light.  Very effective!

Rachael Knight, Christine Gedye, and Gail Thompson taught a fun swing card using the popular Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle.

Open the card to reveal a swinging message!

And Angela Palmer, Kylie Burke, and Kathryn Tyrrell shared this corner card also using the Cookie Cutter Christmas set.  Easy and fun!

Thank you to all who support our events, whether individual classes or big team events like this one.  We appreciate you!

Don’t forget to check out the 25% off list for this month and the new Stitched Framelits dies!

Have an awesome weekend!

Creative Inker’s Christmas Extravaganza – My Guest Bags

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

I personally love altering items, and altering a kraft paper bag is so useful!  My guests at the upcoming Christmas Extravaganzas will each have one of these cute bags for safely transporting their creations home!

Each bag is embellished with the in colour Designer Series Paper Stack.

I had fun playing with the Santa’s Sleigh Thinlit dies, creating different bags in different colours.  Each bag is also embellished with the new Mica Flakes!

Best Birds Frame Card

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

It was my pleasure to share this vintage Best Birds Hanging Frame Card at the recent Extravaganzas.  I kept them all really busy, but the result was worth it!

Inspired by a swap from the Mediterranean Cruise by my Australian friend, Jennie Cass:

This project folds up easily and handily to fit into a 5×5 envelope:

We used the Best Birds bundle for that fun background image, as well as all the birds and greenery.

I heard many positive remarks about this design, particularly noted that they enjoyed that this project could be put on display for a while.

Our Christmas Extravaganzas are coming up in October and November!
