Welcome to the first Thailand Achiever’s Blog Hop!  I’m sure you will enjoy all the projects by these amazing demonstrators.

Currently you are visiting Jacque Williams in Auckland, New Zealand.   My share with you today is inspired by the oncoming Summer weather:

stampin-up-bliss-blooms-double-layout-birds-nature-5-photo

My double layout page today features the Blooms & Bliss Suite.  This pack of Designer Series Paper comes in two colour series, and I chose the Rich Razzleberry portion to coordinate with my photos:

stampin-up-bliss-blooms-double-layout-nature-inspired-scrapbooking-rich-razzleberry

The stamped images are from the coordinating Blooms & Wishes stamp set, and I’ve also used the Layering Love set as a sub-title.

In New Zealand, we tend to bypass the Halloween section of the catalogue, but there is one set in there worth a second look: Ghoulish Grunge.  It has some neat textures such as this honeycomb stamp I’ve used here for the title.

stampin-up-bliss-blooms-hearts-pearls-five-layout-brayer-double-page

A row of simple hearts using the other prints in the DSP pack adds a nice contrast. I’ve “sewn” them together with a few pearls.

The background paper here is actually some of our Irresistably Floral Specialty paper, over which I’ve sponged the coordinating inks to create my own print to fit into the project.

I hope you’ve enjoyed your stop here today! Even if you are not a scrapbooker, there are some ideas here you could use on any project!  Enjoy the rest of your hop by clicking on the link below!

My share is a simple, but pretty card and one that is easy to replicate in bulk, featuring the Christmas Pines Bundle:

I absolutely love the new Kraft Rope Trim.  It adds a real richness without being too “much”, either.

I’ve used the Kraft cardstock and the Mint Macaron cardstock, along with the yummy little Mini Pinecones.   Add Gold Wink of Stella to your Kraft cardstock for a deep shimmer.
Thank you for visiting today. The next stop is the talented Julie Kettlewell!

My share today is using the new Frosted Medallions stamp set. I fell in love with this entire collection!
stampin-up-frosted-medallions-watercolour-emboss-resist-double-front-card
I made this card into a double front card – simple but something just a little bit different.  Basically, this is a concept of making two cards and inserting them one inside the other.
stampin-up-frosted-medallions-double-front-card-emboss stampin-up-frosted-medallions-christmas-double-front-card-emboss-resist
I stamped the medallion onto watercolour paper and white heat embossed.  Next I simply watercolour washed using an AquaPainter  with Soft Sky and Sweet Sugarplum ink.

The reindeer (moose?) is quickly coloured with an Aqua Painter and Crumb Cake and Early Espresso ink pads.

And did you notice the awesome embossing folder?  This new Cable Knit design is a thick, deeply etched folder. Very robust.

Currently you’re visiting Jacque Williams from Auckland, New Zealand!  My share today is a shaker card using the oh-so-cute Sunshine Sayings Bundle:

LOVE this swirly flower and the stamp/die cut combo for sentiments.  I can see I’ll be using this one quite a bit, particularly in scrapbooking.

I made up another version as I was playing with this bundle, this time adding a few more stamps in the background and leaving the embossed frame uninked.  So many possibilities!

Welcome to part 1 of our Occasions Catalogue Farewell 2016 Blog Hop!

You’ll be hopping around to 6 countries and will visit 11 amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators, each with an inspirational project for you to enjoy. The retired list is out now so we’re saying ‘farewell’ to some amazing products, only around while supplies last or until 31st May 2016.

Currently you’re visiting Jacque Williams from New Zealand!

You can continue hopping my using the list of names at the end of this post.

My share today is inspired by a dear Australian friend of mine, Shannean Moncrieff, who presented me with a lovely gift at our recent OnStage (demonstrator training event) here in Auckland:

stampin up grateful bunch beautiful bouquet jacque williamsWhilst the Grateful Bunch stamp set bundle I used is NOT retiring, the Love Blossoms paper stack sadly is!

stampin up grateful bunch crumb cake mother's dayThis design also looks striking in the Crumb Cake version (using the same paper stack).

stampin up grateful bunch blushing bride beautiful bouquetThe little Rose Red ribbon clips are from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Pack, which is also discontinuing.  Love all the little goodies you get in those kits!  And, of course, they coordinate perfectly with the paper stack.

Thank you for visiting today. I’d love to see you back here again next Friday 13th May for Part 2 of our Spring/Summer Farewell 2016. The next stop on the farewell hop is the talented Jason Loucks. You don’t want to miss it!

Welcome to part 2 of our Sale-A-Bration Farewell 2016 Blog Hop!

You’ll be hopping around to 8 countries and will visit 15 amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators, each with an inspirational project for you to enjoy. There’s just 6 days of Sale-A-Bration left and we’re getting ready to say ‘farewell’ to what’s been fantastic Sale-A-Bration of 2016.

Currently you’re visiting Jacque Williams in New Zealand!  We are now in the beginnings of Autumn here and enjoying a bit cooler weather.  I have lived in Auckland for the past 11 years with my husband and three daughters. I feel it a privilege to be part of  Stampin’ Up! since the beginning in New Zealand almost exactly 9 years ago.

In today’s share, I am featuring the Flowering Fields stamp set in my project – a set full of lovely, hand-drawn look designs.

stampin up flowering fieldsThe folder above opens up to two pockets, sized perfectly to fit the Notecards and Envelopes.

stampin up flowering fields new zealand card set gift diy easy quick workshop jacque williamsEach of the three cards is slightly different, but still all coordinating in images and colour.    When we shared a version of this project at the Auckland Extravaganza last weekend, we found it easiest to mount all five images onto a large block and stamp it as if it were one stamp.

Would you like the instructions for this adorable card holder/envelope?   The design has been adapted Di Barnes’ original to fit three Notecards and Envelopes by my team member, Paula Reid. She has kindly given me permission to share her adjusted measurements with you HERE.

She is largely in charge of the ribbons.

I’ve used both the What I Love stamp set and the Glitter Washi Tape on this SaleABration project.   Aren’t the two and three-step stamping sets just truly remarkable?!   We can all be artists using these beautiful images.

stampin up what I love hardwood artisan blackberry bliss jacque williams - CopyHowever, I found as I was stamping and experimenting, this little flower I’ve done here in Soft Suede is my favorite out of the set!

Tips:

~ Stamp off the Hardwood Background  twice before stamping.  (done in Crumb Cake ink)

~ Colour the white Glitter Washi Tape using a sponge and Rich Razzleberry ink.

~ You can find this Blackbery Bliss “twine” by pulling the Blackberry Bliss threads out of the Striped Cotton Ribbon.

And every hand-stamped card needs a hand-stamped envelope!
