All Stars December Blog Hop – Beautiful Bouquet!

Welcome to another Blog Hop around the All Stars Design Team!  You have landed in New Zealand at Jacque Williams’ blog!  This month we are featuring bundles from both the Holiday and the Annual Catalogue, and I’m choosing to feature the Beautiful Bouquet bundle:

The card design itself is simple, but I had a lot of fun creating those flowers!

Isn’t this just a fun look?  Each and every flower is different thanks to a little magic using the Subtles Ink Refills, Watercolor Paper, and the Aqua Painter brush.   Basically I just created my own washed paper, let dry, and die cut from there.

Assemble your beautiful bouquet and adhere to a Stitched Shape Oval. Now if you don’t have the Stitched Shape Framelits yet, I strongly encourage you to make that investment. They are just SO useful!

All these pretty elements are paired with the darkest wood print in the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack for a striking contrast.

I have made another project with this gorgeous bundle, which you can find in our December All Stars Tutorial – FREE with any $50 order through me during December or you can order below:

Welcome to another blog hop with the demonstrators who have achieved the trip to Alaska in 2018!

You’ve landed in New Zealand at Jacque Williams’ Blog!  Thanks for stopping in.  My share today is using that cute, cute set Cheery Chirps, colored in with the new Stampin’ Blends markers:

This card is actually a remake of the wreath card I posted two days ago; I had a few leftover kits and wanted to try the new Stampin’ Blends out.  I love how these turned out,   So easy to use and just so effective!

Not just for Christmas, I thought these Cheery Chirps birds would make a happy and fun thank you card, perfect to have on hand for after the holidays.

I hope you’ve enjoyed your stop in New Zealand!  Supply and shopping list below:

Colour Inkspiration #22 – a Beachy Sort of Christmas

Like
Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

Welcome to another round of Colour Inkspiration Challenge!  We’d love to have your participation; simply join in over the next 3 weeks with your design using the colour combination provided!

Some of you may know, my eldest daughter, Madeleine, is in the United States serving a mission for our church.  She’s a bit homesick and becoming more proud of her Kiwi upbringing, so I decided I’d use this colour challenge to create a large card for some of our friends to sign as part of her Christmas package:

I wanted to make her something a little bit more summery, yet still traditional.  I’ve chosen to use the Season Like Christmas stamp set, one of my favorites from the Holiday Catalogue. How great is a three step tree?!    And at only $36 NZD, this one is a bargain!

In hindsight, I think I will add a bit of colour to those pearls (now that we can!!) with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends.

The Blossom Builder Punch has a cute little flower shape that also resembles a starfish. And even better, this punch is on discount here in the South Pacific this week only!  (See links and shopping list below).

The sand I used here is actually sand . . . .  Let’s hope it gets through customs!

Thanks for stopping by my blog here in New Zealand!  Supply list below.  Enjoy the rest of your hop!  Next stop: Lou Kitzelman!

Colour Inkspiration #21 – Flirty Flowers Pocket Card

Like

Welcome to Colour Inkspiration Challenge #21!  You’ve landed in New Zealand at Jacque Williams’ blog! This fortnight we have a softer colour palette of Sahara Sand, Rose Red, PeekaBoo Peach, Soft Sky, and Pear Pizzazz:

My stamp set of choice this time is the Flirty Flowers:

All the colours are in there, even if just in a tiny quantity.  I must admit I used Berry Burst instead of the Rose Red simply because I needed a matching ribbon.  Both are excellent colours.

I chose to make another version of my Pocket Card, which is a great one for something a bit different and to feature the clean lines of this stamp.

The PInewood Planks Embossing Folder adds a bit of texture in contrast to the soft colours and flowers.  Tuck in a gift voucher or a photo for a complete gift!

Night in Bethlehem – November All Stars Blog Hop!

Welcome to a new All Stars Blog Hop and Tutorial Bundle – this month is “All Christmas”!

To kick off the month, each designer will share a project using the same bundle she used in the exclusive tutorials, giving you several idea with the same tools.  My choice this month is the Night in Bethlehem stamp and die bundle:

First is a fairly straightforward version, the perfect sort of project if you have many Christmas cards to make or just very limited time.

I used the Copper Embossing Powder for the sentiment, Copper Foil for the star, and a whisp of the Copper Metallic Thread around the bow.  Copper and Night of Navy are a striking combination!

Version 2 is a little more stepped up, this time keeping all the stamping flat and cutting out a word with the Large Letters Dies.  This technique (the Eclipse technique) is the rage at the moment and is so easy to do!

First do all your stamping, then simply cut the letters our over the stamped images.  Replace back into place with Dimensionals.  Easy!

The Navy and Silver combination is traditional while still being a bit of a stand out among other Christmas cards!

Remember the exclusive 12 Tutorial Bundle for November is FREE with any $50NZD  order through me OR you can purchase below fr $20 NZD:

Colour Inspiration #20 – Orange Blossom Pop Up Card

Like

Welcome to another Colour Inkspiration Crew Blog Hop!

This fortnight’s challenge is a rich colour combination in Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler, Dapper Denim, and Always Artichoke:

I love the picture that inspired this combination and took my inspiration directly from there:

The stamp set is Orange Blossom, one of those funny ones that just looks like black blobs in the catalogue, but when stamped in colour, it really comes to life!

One of my favorite things on this project is the Silver Foil done up faux punched tin style.  I’ve used the Quilt Top Embossing Folder backwards to create this effect.   I also used the new Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers to colour those pearls more of an Ivory than a stark white (Stampin’ Blends coming 1 November!).

And inside the card we have this fun and easy pop up detail, along with a warm colour inside.

I hope you’ve had fun here at my blog – next stop: Kelly Kent!

Watercolour Christmas – Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop

Welcome to the first blog hop among the demonstrators around the world who have achieved the Alaska Cruise in 2018!  You’ve landed at Jacque Williams’s blog in New Zealand!

My share today is a striking, yet simple, card project for Christmas featuring the Boxwood Wreath Embellishments:

I love the texture and interest these cute wreaths give to projects – and not just for Christmas! Here I’ve shaped it into a circle, but these are a simple wire so can be shaped how you prefer.

The stamp set I’ve used, Watercolor Christmas, coordinate with an easy Christmas kit for some fast card projects, but don’t limit it to just that!  Use this versatile set with clean images for other imaginative projects, too.

October All Stars Blog Hop – Quilted Christmas

Welcome to October, Welcome to New Zealand, and Welcome to another All Stars Blog Hop!

This month we decided to feature the Holiday Catalogue again; you’ll see a variety of Christmas and non-Christmas projects both on this hop AND in the 12 tutorial bundle offered below.

Both of my projects focus on the Quilted Christmas Bundle.  This bundle is so much more than Christmas:

I had great fun making this home decor piece!   I plan to make another one in a different colour scheme, too.   We do a draw for names in my husband’s family . . .  . well I guess I hope I get the name of someone who will enjoy this!

Each square on this wall art features the Quilt Top Embossing Folder and some element from the Quilted Christmas stamp set or die set or both.  Here, I’ve used the star pattern stamps along with the stitching dies.

And isn’t this needle die just soooo adorable!   Such a cute, cute touch to the embellishments.

The Quilted Christmas die set also has these fun daisy-type flowers as a compliment to the quilted stars.  I also think the little cross stitching stamp is very useful!

If you don’t wish to make home decor, consider taking each of these squares and making a square notecard!  Or do both!

Remember the 12 designers on this hop have also created an exclusive tutorial bundle for October – yours free with any $50 order with me (Jacque Williams) or you can purchase below for $20 NZD.
