Rivetbudgetwise Notemplatebag I think Anabel named this one the "Tall Box".  My dearest and oldest (not eldest) friend, Melinda, showed me this template donkey's years ago; it's a good old stand-by.

My preference is to do projects that require no templates because I hate to draw, trace, or maneuver anything remotely like a puzzle.

This box is wheeled all over with It's Beautiful, a really fun design in the Spring Mini catalogue in Pretty in Pink.  The flower is from One of a Kind and also uses the coordinating punch for the little flowers.

This is exactly the same box as the one posted earlier (scroll down) done up in Real Red and Green Galore – achieving a very different look!

This is a very neat project shown to demonstrators by Linda at convention.  I can't remember her last name, but a very lovely and warm lady!

The concept here is very simple – use your Designer Series Papers to make a perfect gift bag by just wrapping it around a box!  Slip the box out and voila! a bag ready for some stamping.

I thought the idea of the card on the front was also very clever.  Seal an envelope, slit one end open and adhere that to the front of your bag for a quick & easy pocket to insert a tag or card.  Stampin' Up!'s envelopes have the same super-smooth finish on them as the Whisper White and Very Vanilla stamping card to give your stamped imaged a clean, crisp finish.

My friend Pauline had a brainstorm in a class one day to punch out flower to cover up little boo-boo's.  I did a really Giftpackagingcrazy thing to this bag and was so frustrated I wasn't about to start over  . . . so I took Pauline's advice and made my bag a pretty little band-aid.  It's sort of floating out of place, but a sight better than what lies underneath!

The paper used here is Fall Flowers.  The second sample is done up with Apple Cider papers – those that are being deleted as of Sunday.  This photo is a bag that was made up by my dear friend, Mirriel.  If you'd like these, get them today!Easygiftpackaging

I've noticed in the years I have been teaching papercrafting that every Christmas there seems to be THE project everyone loves.  2009 brings us the "Rivetmaleapprovedbag in a box" for an easy gift idea.

And I love this quick project, too!  You can make two out of one sheet of our designer series papers and all the rest can be made out of scraps and bits & pieces, so easily a project that can be done for less than $1.

The Dashing paper has been so overwhelmingly popular this year! The Real Red, Old Olive, and River Rock combination is striking, festive, and still easy gift ideasslightly unexpected.

Rivetgreatgiftidea Here's version two of the pop can for this year.  (scoll down to see another design) So, depending on your mood, these can be bright and fun or more sophisticated.

The stamps used on this project are often missed in the catalogue because easy gift ideas handmadeit's such a small set.  It's called Snow Flurries and the words are from Short & Sweet.  If you love these colours, grab the papers now as they will be deleted Nov 30th!

RivetbudgetwiseMy favourite packaging idea revisited!  Not only great for Christmas, but perfect for birthday party favours (or invites!!) or any other fun occasion.

I've done this one up using the Wintergreen Designer Series Paper and the Crazy for Christmas set, which is perfect for this project.  I quickly coloured in here & there with the Stampin' Write markerrubber stamping classes pop cans and done!

I have just a few slots left in December for classes – let me know if you'd like to book a class for EASY and NO TEMPLATE packaging ideas!  It's a great way to also learn rubber stamping techniques!

RivetgreatgiftideaAhh, it was SUCH fun to make this tin.  I felt that little thrill in my heart when researching and designing this little guy – 3D items are definately my "thing".  These ones were a special treat for my class attendees – these are altoid tins Jared brought back from Utah a few months back.  Most of the contents had been emptied out due to weight, but there were a few for the ladies to sample.

The covering of the tin anIMG_5346_edited-1d the embellishments are done with the Dashing papers, the Season of Joy stamp set, and the Tags for all stamp set.  Both sets are avaiable for just a few more weeks (both in the spring mini catalogue).  I'll miss that tree – it's just fantastic!

Altoid-tin We even stamped up a little piece of tissue paper and wrapped up a few wee Christmas tags, made super easy with a stamp set specifically designed for tags!

Sooo, I had just enough tins with a red rim for the class.  Lo and behold, I did a cleanout of my craft closet yesterday, and found three more!  So for TODAY, the first three people to email me with orders $50 or more will get one of these fab little tins for FREE!  Today, Monday November 10th until midnight!
